1. Go to the signup page

You can also start directly from the homepage by clicking “Start your free scan.”

2. Choose how you want to log in

You have two options:

One-time code (OTP)

  • Enter your email address

  • You’ll receive a one-time login code in your inbox

  • Enter the code to access your account

Social login

  • Click “Continue with Google” or “Continue with GitHub”

  • Authorize the login via your account

  • You’ll be redirected to your Tresal dashboard

Tip: We recommend using your work email for the best experience, especially when setting up a team workspace.

3. Add your first asset

After login, you’ll be prompted to add your first asset — this can be a hostname or an IP address.

Example:

  • app.yourcompany.com

  • 192.0.2.1

Click “Start Scan” to begin scanning immediately.

4. View your scan results

Your scan will typically finish within a few minutes. Once it’s complete, go to the Dashboard to see:

  • Your risk score

  • Key findings grouped by severity

  • Exposure across ports, services, and technologies

That’s it — your attack surface is now being monitored.

You’re ready to start reviewing findings and improving your security posture.
