How are assets counted for billing?

Tresal charges based on the number of scanned assets in your workspace. Each individual hostname, IP address, or website URL counts as one asset.

What is an “asset”?

An asset is any unique target you scan.

This includes:

• Hostnames (e.g. app.tresal.eu)

• IP addresses (e.g. 192.168.1.1)

• Website URLs (e.g. https://tresal.eu)

Important: small variations = separate assets

Even if two assets point to the same system, they are counted separately if the hostname or URL is different.

Example — these are counted as 2 assets:

Why? Because each will be scanned and analyzed independently.

💡 Tip

To manage your usage:

• Avoid duplicate entries with/without “www”

• Regularly review your Assets tab

• Delete assets you no longer need to scan
