Sometimes a scan may take a few minutes to initialize. This can happen for a few reasons:
• The asset is still being verified or processed
• The scan queue is temporarily full during peak usage
• The asset format is invalid (e.g. missing protocol or typo in hostname)
✅ What you can try:
• Double-check that the hostname is correct (e.g. app.yourcompany.com)
• Make sure the asset is not already listed under a different name (e.g. with/without “www”)
• Wait a few minutes — most scans begin shortly after adding
